RMS clarinet trials are 7 days from the day you receive the instruments.  Please schedule your trial period in consideration of your rehearsal and/or clarinet lesson schedule.

Before shipping clarinets out on trial, we require a deposit of the price of the most expensive instrument, plus the cost of shipping/insurance.  RMS accepts major credit cards and personal checks as forms of payment.  (When making a purchase, Georgia residents are also required to pay 7% tax on the price of the instrument.)

RMS charges a restocking fee of $25 per clarinet if no purchase is made ($60 for bass clarinets).  We invest time and skill to set up each instrument so that they play their best and so the customer can accurately judge them.  We charge this fee to maintain the quality of the instruments and to keep them in top condition for future trials.

After making your decision, please contact us prior to shipping so that we can provide you with a return shipping label.  All confirmed sales are final, so make your selection carefully.

RMS requires shipment using either UPS or Fedex as carriers.  If you want to take advantage of paying our lower shipping rate, then you must use UPS and contact us for a special label prior to shipping the clarinets back.  Otherwise, you are free to use Fedex and cover the insurance/shipping costs yourself.
