New Protocol for Clarinet Overhauls, Upgrades & Tune Ups
RMS is continuing clarinet overhauls, upgrades and tune ups, but we are updating our protocol to keep our customers and ourselves safe during the COVID-19 period.
RMS ARTIST OVERHAULS will continue as scheduled, without interruption. We still recommend allowing 2 weeks for your clarinet overhaul.
NEW CLARINET UPGRADES will continue, but with a new protocol. The day you ship or drop off your instrument, we will count 14 days until we begin work on the instrument. On that 14th day, we will contact you to see if you are in good health. This will essentially let us know if the instrument is ‘safe’ to work on. We recommend allowing 3 weeks total for clarinet upgrade under these new guidelines.
CLARINET TUNE UPS will continue, but with a new protocol. The day you ship or drop off your instrument, we will count 14 days until we begin work on the instrument. On that 14th day, we will contact you to see if you are in good health. This will essentially let us know if the instrument is ‘safe’ to work on. “As soon as I opened the case, I was amazed at how beautiful my clarinet looked… The response of the instrument is flawless as well as the ease in which it now plays. I could not ask for the instrument to feel any better under my fingers. Thank you!”
